Marketing Policy
We only send you marketing if you’ve asked us to, we tell you what you’re signing up for, and every message has a one-tap unsubscribe. We never sell your details.
1. About this policy
This Marketing Policy explains how PixlFIT Ltd (“we”, “us”) handles marketing and promotional communications, in line with UK data-protection law (UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers your data more broadly.
2. When we’ll contact you
We only send marketing — such as product news, new features or occasional offers — where you have opted in, for example by subscribing to our mailing list or ticking a clear consent box. We don’t add people to marketing lists by default, and we don’t buy marketing lists from anyone else.
3. What “consent” means here
- Your consent is a positive, opt-in action — never pre-ticked boxes.
- We keep a record of the consent you gave and when.
- You can withdraw consent at any time, and it’s as easy to opt out as it was to opt in.
4. What we might send
- Announcements about new PixlFIT features and updates.
- Occasional offers on PixlFIT Pro.
- Tips on getting more out of the app.
We aim to keep it relevant and infrequent. We won’t bombard you.
5. Unsubscribing
Every marketing email includes a clear unsubscribe link. You can also opt out at any time by emailing thomas@pixlfit.co.uk with “unsubscribe” in the subject. We’ll action opt-outs promptly. Note that even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you essential service messages where necessary (for example, an important notice about the app or your purchase) — these aren’t marketing.
6. Cookies and this website
This website currently uses only what’s needed to serve the pages. If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, we’ll show a cookie notice and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set, as required by PECR. You’ll be able to change your choice at any time.
7. In-app messages and the App Store
Some communication happens through your device — for example, iOS notifications (which you control in your device settings) or App Store subscription messages handled by Apple. Those are governed by your device settings and Apple’s terms rather than this policy.
8. Your data and your rights
Any details you give us for marketing (such as your email address) are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, correct or delete this data, and to object to direct marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, email thomas@pixlfit.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will always show the current version.
