Privacy Policy

Last updated: 06/07/2026
The short version

PixlFIT keeps your training log, progress photos and health data on your device. There’s no account to create, and we don’t run analytics or advertising SDKs. We don’t collect your personal data on our own servers, and we never sell it.

1. Who we are

PixlFIT (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is provided by PixlFIT Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC894560), registered office Clyde Offices, 2nd Floor, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BP. For any privacy question, contact us at thomas@pixlfit.co.uk.

This policy explains what happens to information when you use the PixlFIT iOS app and this website. We are the “data controller” for the limited personal data described below.

2. Data the app stores on your device

Almost everything you create in PixlFIT lives locally on your iPhone or iPad and is not transmitted to us:

Because this data is stored locally, it is covered by your device’s own security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID and encryption). If you delete the app, this locally stored data is removed with it. We cannot recover it for you.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, PixlFIT reads and writes body weight to Apple Health so your latest weight can prefill a session and your logged changes are saved back. This exchange happens directly between the app and Apple Health on your device. Apple Health data is not sent to us and is governed by Apple’s own privacy protections. You can review or revoke this access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PixlFIT. We only ever access body weight — no other health data.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

PixlFIT Pro is sold as an in-app purchase (monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase). Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or store your card details. Apple shares anonymised, aggregated sales and subscription data with us (for example, how many subscriptions are active) so we can run the business, but this does not identify you personally. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5. This website

This site (pixlfit.co.uk) is a simple marketing and support site. If you email us using the addresses on this site, we’ll receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us, and we’ll use it only to reply and provide support. If we add analytics or cookies to this site in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

6. What we do not do

7. Your rights (UK GDPR)

Because most of your data never leaves your device, you are already in direct control of it — you can view, edit, export or delete it from within the app. For the limited personal data we may hold (such as a support email you send us), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email thomas@pixlfit.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Data retention

On-device data is retained until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and to keep reasonable records, then deleted.

9. Children

PixlFIT is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll address it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we’ll make it clear in the app or on this site.
